  • The “Namur Award” from International Federation for Information Processing (IFIP) for pioneering research to increase the awareness of the social and psychological impact of ICT.


  • Human Factors and Ergonomics Society (HFES) The Hal W. Hendrick Distinguished International Colleague Award 2010. The HFES motivation was: “This award is presented in recognition of your distinguished career and your contributions, spanning nearly 40 years, to the integration of behavioral and psychological sciences with information and communication technology through the elaboration of social informatics.”


  • The "Golden Leaf" award for important contributions and for special contribution and research in the field of psychosocial work environment, from the Professional Association for Psychologists in Sweden.


  • “Professional Woman of the Year” in Sweden, by the Association for Business and Professional Women, BPW Sweden.


  • Received the “Honors Lectureship Award”, University of Central Florida, USA.


  • Lifetime Award from The International Association for Development of the Information Society (IADIS) “for forty years of pioneering research and highly relevant contribution in the ICT, Society and Human Beings fields”
