The purpose with the book was to contribute to a discussion on desirable actions on various levels and utmost how ICT can be used for deepening human qualities. The contributors were distinguished researchers/professors from Europe, USA and South East Asia, about 10 persons. The network met first at an EU workshop in Brussels 1999, organized and chaired by GB. The book was released in 2001 at the Malmö conference when Sweden chaired the EU commission the first time. It was a historical event.  New policy makers and governmental representatives were among the audience at GB´s presentation of the main conclusions from and the main message of the book. Some years later in 2003 GB  participated in World IT Forum (WITFOR) in Vilnius, at which event the first official statements internationally were specified in the direction of GB´s visions.
